The biggest takeaway for me from my time in high school is the importance of not judging other people's lives, because you're not living their life. There could be something happening in their life that you're unaware of, or something happening in their spiritual life.
Although I have had many mentors in my life, the ones who have had the most significant impact on me are obviously my parents. I also consider my Bible study leader an excellent mentor. We call him Mr. A. He's definitely helped me a lot. Also, Pastor David has had a big impact. He is very understanding. You can sit down and talk with him, and he will understand what you're going through and give excellent advice, which is so cool.
I want my life path to align with God’s plan for me. I feel like He’s guiding me towards a servant role somewhere. I love taking on leadership roles and planning church events. When I’m serving, wherever that might be, I don’t want to stop because it brings me so much joy to help others. I’m hoping to join the Air Force someday, something I’ve always wanted to do. But no matter what I choose, I want to follow the Holy Spirit wherever He leads me.
