One of the biggest takeaways from my college experience is that your faith journey is very personal, and there isn’t a step-by-step order for how to go about it. So there isn’t an exact formula related to your faith journey because it’s a very intimate relationship with the Lord and you. What works for one person might not necessarily work for another.
When I think about my purpose in life and what I want my purpose to be, it boils down simply to be, love God and love others. That's how my faith has been shaped, to express love and show genuine love and honor to those around me. I firmly believe that Crossroads, particularly this youth group, has genuinely encouraged me to embrace that aspect of myself.
Pastor David has had a big impact on my life. I’m planning to pursue a career in youth ministry. Having the encouragement and support of a youth pastor like David supporting my faith journey is huge. His investment in me has been incredibly valuable. David also invited me to do an internship, giving me the chance to experience youth ministry firsthand.
Without a doubt, I can go to Pastor David with anything because he does a great job of creating a safe space, not just for the students but also for leaders. He is very relational and does a great job ministering to all around him.
