A lot has gone into shaping what I’ll take away from my college experience. I think the most important thing was making connections with people, not only people who would be critical to my career, but those who are critical to my faith. I also learned the importance of taking time to establish a good routine with God.
Faith is essential to me, especially since I’m pursuing a Ministry Degree. I had several questions that came to mind when considering the ministry, am I called into full time ministry? Am I called to part time ministry? What does that look like?
I’m learning to trust God through uncertainty, accepting where God has me in the moment, so faith plays a huge role in my decisions. I have learned to lean into whatever open doors God provides.
All of the Crossroads pastors have had a significant influence on my life. So Pastors David, Hannah, Tara, Brett, and Pastor Brent, played a role in one aspect or another. Brent in particular has influenced my life and helped me develop my leadership skills. I’ve had the unique opportunity to work with both CR Sports and Crossroads Worship Ministries. Both ministries perfectly align with my career plans, my passions, and values.
I have also been greatly influenced by my drum instructor. He encouraged me through my music abilities and built me up as a person.
